Trudy L. Lynch, 76, of Greenwood, died Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at UPMC-Altoona. She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late Ernest H. and Mildred M. (Shay) Larson. She married Joseph Lynch on May 4, 1968 at Altoona Bible Church. He preceded her in death on January 14, 2005.
Surviving are two sons: Robert A. Lynch and wife Marlene, of Williamsburg and Thomas A. Lynch and wife Wendy, of Altoona; grandchildren: Connor and Adam Lynch, of Altoona and Larson and Finn Lynch, of Williamsburg; step grandson: Zach, Nathan, and Jordan Corle of Altoona; niece and nephew, Jodie and Dane Spancake, of York; and sister-in-law, Lois Walker and husband Jim and brother-in-law, Lee Spancake of York
She was preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Spancake.
Trudy retired from the Logan Township Police Department on March 10, 2006, where she worked in Data Entry. She was a member of the Greenwood Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary.
She graduated in 1962 from Altoona High School. Her hobbies included spending time with her grandchildren, reading, needlepoint and her animals.
Friends will be received on Monday, April 26, 2021 from 11 until the 1 p.m. Funeral Service at Mauk and Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Juniata, with Pastor Matt Roberts, officiating. Interment will be made at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Twp. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, masks and social distancing are required.
