Timothy Stetser

Timothy “Tim” Stetser, 52, Altoona, passed away Wednesday at UPMC Altoona after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in York, PA, son of the late Rev. Harry G. and Elaine (Schrantz) Stetser. On November 9, 1991, he married high school sweetheart, Linda Norris. Surviving are his wife, Linda, of 31 years; a daughter, Alyssa, who was his pride and joy; two sisters: Susan Heidelbaugh of Ocala, FL and Deborah Morris (Joe) of York, PA. He is also survived by his beloved cats: Buddy, Bagel, Muffin and Donut. Tim enjoyed gardening, working on computers, and especially loved driving and working on his 1976 Mustang. He also enjoyed camping and trains. He was a member of Altoona Sportsman Club and First Lutheran Church. He worked at Penn State University College of Agriculture for almost 10 years. His work family meant everything to him and most importantly, his family. Friends will be received from 11 am to 1 pm on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1401 12th Avenue, Altoona, 16601, where a Celebration of Life will be held at 1 pm with Pastor Barry Folmar officiating.
