Timothy Lee Lozinski, 66, Altoona, passed away at his home Saturday. Tim was born in Altoona.
For many years, Tim drove for New Century and Heniff Transportation. His love for driving semi-trucks was only outshined by his love for making music behind the bongo drums every chance he could.
A devout Christian, Tim was an extremely active member of Trans4mation Church in Altoona, as well as an ever-present volunteer and board member at The Lighthouse Men’s Ministry of Blair County.
In 1994, Tim met and married RuthAnn Salyer Lozinski. Tim and RuthAnn shared 28 years of adventures together, traveling and cruising the world, as well as visiting most of the United States in their RV.
Tim is survived by his wife, RuthAnn; brother, Steve Lozinski; sister, Terri Lozinski Stiver; his children, Joshua Lozinski and Abby Lozinski Montes; stepchildren: Larry Salyer Jr., Brenda Salyer and Pamela Salyer Michalec; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
He was predeceased by his sister, Sally Lozinski Halverson; and his parents, Audrey and Frank Lozinski.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2022, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., 719 N. Fourth Ave., Altoona.
A second visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the memorial service at noon Thursday, Oct. 27, 2022, at Trans4mation Church, 1001 South First Street, Altoona.
Tim’s family will be at both locations to welcome friends and relatives.
