Stephen G. Neff

Stephen G. Neff, 78, Altoona, passed away Friday evening at UPMC Altoona.

He was born in Altoona, son of the late Norman and Esther (Horner) Neff. On July 11, 1983, he married Dianne Albright.

In addition to his wife, Dianne, of 38 years; he is survived by four sons: Stephen II of Altoona, Jeff and wife Theresa of Hollidaysburg, Timothy of Hollidaysburg, and Noah and wife Danielle of Etters, PA; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a brother, Jack Neff and wife Linda; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son, Aaron.

Stephen was a graduate of Altoona High School. He retired in 2001 as a locomotive engineer from Conrail.

He attended Grace Alive Church and was a member of the NRA.

He served in the United States Army from 1961 to 1965.

Friends will be received from 12 to 3 pm on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4^th Avenue, Altoona, where a funeral service will be held at 3 pm. Interment will be made at Alto Reste Park.
