Ruth B. Strong

Ruth B. Strong, 94, Altoona, passed away early Monday morning at Epworth Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Tyrone. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late William L. and Maude (Yingling) Weston. She married Charles Strong. He preceded her in death on February 6, 1997. Ruth is survived by a son, William C. Strong and wife Kathy of Altoona; six grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and numerous great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Jane Morder. Ruth was a 1944 graduate of Altoona High School and was a homemaker. At the request of the deceased, no public services will be held.
