Rose Marie Allison

Rose Marie Allison, 91, Tyrone, died Saturday evening at Maybrook Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Mountaindale, the daughter of the late Arthur and Martha Luella (Yingling) Thomas. She married Donald L. Allison on October 16, 1948, in Winchester, VA. He preceded her in death on January 8, 2017. Surviving are two daughters: Linda Savino (Anthony) of Tyrone, Bonnie Sue Harpster (Phillip), of Altoona; two sons: Michael David Allison (Sherry) and Gary Joseph Allison, all of Altoona; 17 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons: Donald Lee Allison, Jr. and Richard Alan Allison; five sisters: Mary Barr, Evelyn Zonfrilli, Ella Clair, Ruth Sisler, and Margaret Smith; and four brothers: William Thomas, Arthur Thomas, Frank Thomas, and Larry Thomas. Rose was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church. Friends will be received on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 from 4 until the 7 p.m. Funeral Service at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Juniata. Interment will be made at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Twp. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
