Ronald E. McMillan, Jr.

Ronald E. McMillan, Jr., 64, Altoona, formerly of Millville, NJ, passed away Sunday.

He was born in Altoona, son of Ronald E., Sr. and Marion McGeary McMillan.

He is survived by his mother, Marion; a sister, Tammy Poplardo (Nick); four brothers: Chris McMillan (Brenda), Randy McMillan (Wanda), Jeff McMillan (Donna) and Shawn McMillan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, Ian Shane and his father, Ronald E., Sr.

Ronald graduated from Millville Senior High School in NJ. He later graduated from the Pittsburgh Art Institute.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping and was an avid Steelers fan. He enjoyed spending time with his Uncle Allen.

He was a member of the NRA and Blair County Association. He collected trains and was a Civil War enthusiast and a Johnny Cash and John Wayne fan.

He was an avid painter and had a special gift for painting portraits.

Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm on Monday, March 10, 2025 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Altoona, 16601. Family and friends will also be received on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 from 10 to 11 am where a funeral service will immediately follow at 11 am. Interment will be made at Grandview Cemetery.
