Richard Patrick Jackson

Richard Patrick Jackson, 81, Altoona, passed away Friday.

He was born in Altoona, son of the late Richard A. and Marjorie (Sands) Jackson.

On September 24, 1965, he married Linda L. Wall in Winchester, VA.

In addition to his wife, Linda, of 59 years; he is survived by two daughters: Shelley Ridenour (Rick) and Kimberly Howard, all of Altoona; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and five siblings: Steve Jackson (Joey), Patty Marshall, Jan Gority, Shirley Cronin (Chuck) and Tina Maze (Joe).

Richard was a 1961 graduate of Altoona High School. He retired from the railroad as a movement director.

At the request of the deceased, no public services will be held. Inurnment will take place at Alto Reste Park.
