Ralph H. Hoffman, 91, Altoona, passed away Saturday morning at the Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg. He was born in Bellwood, son of the late Henry G. and Irene (Kline) Hoffman. On October 4, 1950, he married Mary L. Nedimyer at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Altoona. She preceded him in death on May 21, 1995. Ralph is survived by a son, Ralph W. of Altoona; two daughters: Linda L. “Sis” Holland of Altoona and Rose M. Stuby (Jeff) of Tyrone; four grandchildren: Daniel Hoffman, Julia Radel (Kris), Jeffery Stuby, Jr. (Samantha), and Ryan Stuby (Cristina); four great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; a brother, Donald “Sonny” Hoffman; and a sister, Eva Myers. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph Henry Hoffman and Edward Hoffman; a sister, Virginia Eileen Troxell; and special friend, Ronalda Stuby. Ralph was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He worked as a groundskeeper for St. Bernardine’s Monastery. He also worked as a milk tester in the Cove. Friends will be received on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Juniata. Friends will also be received on Wednesday, September 15 from 10 to 11 a.m. with a funeral service to immediately follow at 11 a.m. with Very Rev. Ronald V. Osinski. Interment will be made at Calvary Cemetery.
