Phyllis J. Robertson

Phyllis J. Robertson, 87, Altoona, passed away Friday at her home.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late William P. and Edith (Merritts) Shannon. On July 8, 1955, she married Richard D. Robertson in Winchester, VA. He preceded her in death on March 1, 2017.

She is survived by two sons: Richard D. Robertson of Altoona and Phillip O. Robertson and wife Amy of Altoona; two daughters: Nancy L. Robertson of Altoona and Tracy A. Robertson of Baltimore, MD; grandchildren: Matthew D. Robertson, Paige O. McCarthy (Michael), Elliott M. Robertson and Noah C. Robertson; great grandchildren: Alexander, Chloe and Rhys; sisters: Gladys Brawdy, Linda Brantner (Ron) and Edie Hertzog; in-laws: Beverly Wilinski of Altoona, Deborah and Dennis Hrzic of Mechanicsburg and Deanna Luckenbaugh of Mechanicsburg; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by siblings: William Shannon and Virginia D’Uva.

Phyllis was a 1952 graduate of Altoona High School. She was a member of Juniata United Methodist Church and enjoyed Bingo and going to the casino.

Friends will be received from 10 am until the 11 am Memorial Service on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Juniata United Methodist Church, 808 N 4^th Street, Altoona, PA 16601 with Rev. Dr. Michelle Bodle officiating. Inurnment will be made at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Township.
