Phillip A. Taylor, 87, Altoona, passed away Saturday at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Orlando and Bessie (Weston) Phillip. On December 21, 1957, he married Marsha J. Taylor in Altoona. In addition to his wife, Marsha, of 64 years; he is survived by a son, Kirk D. Taylor (Donnie Kelley) of Clarion; a daughter, Cris Taylor Creely (James T.) of Southington, CT; special granddaughter, Jessica Warwick (Michael) of Altoona; along with numerous more loving grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; and a brother, James Taylor (Judy) of Clearfield. He was preceded in death by a son, Robert D. Taylor. Phil retired as a surveyor from People’s Natural Gas. He was former president of the Trinity Lutheran Church council and former president of Gasco Eastern Federal Credit Union. He served in the US Army. A celebration of life will be held from 2 to 4 pm on Friday, July 15, 2022 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Juniata with military honors immediately following. Inurnment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery, Altoona.
