Paul Wayne Mackel, 65, Altoona, passed away Tuesday at his home.
He was born in Conemaugh, son of the late Charles Roger, Sr. and Anna Margaret (Isenberg) Mackel.
He is survived by his significant other, Karen Markel; a brother, William Edward Mackel; a son, Daniel James; an aunt, Pam Mackel; and an uncle, Richard Mackel.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, Matthew James Mackel.
Paul worked as a mechanic.
He served in the US Coast Guard.
Friends will be received on Monday, August 23, 2021 from 4 until the 6 p.m. funeral service at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Juniata. Interment will be made at Grandview Cemetery.
