Paul L Hetrick, 86, Altoona, passed away Monday evening at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born in Emporium, PA, son of the late Roy and Mary (Coon) Hetrick.
On March 13, 1971, he married Linda L Henry in Altoona.
In addition to his wife Linda, of 53 years, he is survived by four children: Christian Brumbaugh in CA, Stephen (Deborah) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Tammy Partee (Paul) of Washington, PA and Robert (Sherry) in Hollidaysburg; 12 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and three siblings: Esther Hoover in Hollidaysburg, Chris Mallory in Altoona and Tom Hetrick (Ann Marie) in Altoona.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Lee Hetrick and a sister, Carol Edwards.
Paul was a graduate of Robinson High School, Puerto Rico.
He served 20 years in the US Air Force and retired as a Master Sergeant. He also retired from Scott Electric as a warehouse manager.
He was a member of Second Avenue Global Methodist Church. He enjoyed working on crossword puzzles, working jigsaw puzzles and reading.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 pm on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Altoona, 16601. Friends will also be received from 10 to the 11 am funeral service on Friday, December 13, 2024 at the funeral home. Interment will be made at Blair Memorial Park with military honors.
