Patricia L. Robinson

Patricia L. “Patti” (Riley) Robinson, 72, Altoona, passed away peacefully Tuesday, at her residence after a three year battle with Sarcoma cancer. 

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late David and P. Joyce Riley.

On May 16, 1981, she married Lawrence P. Robinson at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Altoona.

Surviving are her husband; her beloved daughter, Dawn L. (Marc) Abraham of Garland, TX; her two grandchildren who she loved dearly: Ty M. Dragos and Brooke L. Dragos of Garland, TX; brothers, Robert (Jan) Riley of Apolo, PA and Randy Riley of Saxonburg, PA; sisters: Kathleen (Dennis) Ducher of Gillette, WY, Cindy (David) Brown of Salt Lake City, UT and Tammy (Ted) Lanich of Altoona.

She was preceded in death by brothers: Richard and Ronald Riley.

Patti was a 1970 graduate of Altoona High School. Patti retired as a secretary in the District Court of Blair County. She also worked at Automotive Supply and Dr. Brande and Saad Optometrist.

Patti was a life member of B.A. Good VFW Auxiliary, Post 8685 where she served as past president, treasurer, and secretary. She also belonged to the American Legion 424 and Thursday Night Ladies Bowling League of the Frohsinn Singing Society where she also served as president and secretary.

Patti loved traveling, doing crafts-especially plastic canvas and cross stitch, reading, playing golf and she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren the most.

Friends will be received from 4-7pm Sunday, October 20, 2024, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., where there will be a Prayer Vigil during the visitation.  A funeral service will be held at 11am, Monday, October 21, 2024, at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Altoona.  Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery, Altoona.
