Nancy Jean Popovich

Nancy Jean Popovich, 71, Bellwood, passed away Wednesday afternoon at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Joseph and Urdine (Lingenfelter) Mack. She married Michael Thomas Popovich in 1972 and he preceded her in death on March 5, 2002. She is survived by three children: Amy Popovich (Lori Wiley) of Altoona, Cathy Bailor of Altoona, and John Popovich of Bellwood; two granddaughters: Olivia Bailor and Shayla Graham; and two brothers: Bill and Jim Mack. Nancy enjoyed cooking and baking, playing games and watching soap operas. She was a hard worker and loved being with her grandchildren and cats. A private family service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place at Grandview Cemetery. Arrangements are by Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc.
