Maryann Lee Orr

Maryann Lee Orr, 79, Altoona, passed away peacefully on Sunday afternoon surrounded by her family. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Warren and Margaret (Rich) Lee. On January 2, 1964, she married Thomas C. Orr, Jr. in Cumberland, MD. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Thomas W. Orr and wife Joy of Altoona; three daughters: Amy O. Rosensteel of Altoona, Amada O. Holtz and husband Tim of Patton and Polly O. Epple and husband Andy of Altoona; 11 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a sister, Nancy Lee Crist of St. Petersburg, FL. She was preceded in death by a sister, Harriet Stoner. Maryann was a 1961 graduate of Altoona High School and attended Bucknell University. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and loved to spend time with her family. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Gentiva Hospice for their professional and compassionate care. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at Calvary Baptist Church, with Rev. Ronald Anderson, officiating. Interment was made at Alto Reste Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, Youth Ministry, 810 Ruskin Drive, Altoona, PA 16602.
