Martha Grace Deihl

Martha Grace Deihl, 96, formerly of Altoona, died January 25, 2020 at Westmoreland Hospital. She was born in Cresson, PA, a daughter of the late James Rodney Deihl and Anna Bertha (Medrow) Deihl. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three sisters: Erna F. Deihl, Helen Crider, and Esther M. Deihl; and four brothers: James N., Ralph G., Arthur L., Robert E. She was a graduate of Cresson High School, Class of 1940. During her working years, she was an Administrative Secretary for Waters Consultants in San Diego, CA. She served seven years active duty in the US Navy and 15 years in the Navy Reserves. She was a member of the Navy League and IAAP (International Association of Administrative Professionals). Her hobbies included Volunteer work, reading, and shopping. Friends will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. on Friday, January 31, 2020 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., Juniata, where a funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. Interment will be made at Cresson Union Cemetery.
