Marlene Ann Hollen, 88, Tyrone, died Saturday evening at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Kenneth E. and Florence M. (Clinger) Turnbaugh. On September 27, 1948, she married John Levi Hollen in West Viriginia. He preceded her in death on September 23, 1997. Surviving are four children: Judith A. Hollen, Kenneth J. Hollen (Patty), Gary D. Hollen (Renee), and Cindy Stevens (David); eight grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Patricia Lightner (George). She was preceded in death by a son, Barry; a granddaughter, Danielle; a grandson, Jacob Hood; and brothers: Donnie and Terry Turnbaugh. Marlene retired from Sylvania after 25 years of service. She attended Riggles Gap Bible Church and she enjoyed watching birds, Nascar with family, crossword puzzles and having her hair done on Monday evenings by her granddaughter, Shelley. Friends will be received from 9 until the 11 a.m. Funeral Service on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Juniata with Pastor William Ice officiating. Interment will be made at Asbury Cemetery.
