Margie W. Askey

Margie W. Askey, 97, of Lake Worth, Florida died peacefully Sunday morning, March 8, 2020, under hospice care for dementia and pneumonia. She was born in Juniata on December 7, 1922, daughter of the late H. Perry and Clara A. (Price) Robison. On January 3, 1945, she married James A. Askey in Juniata. “Jim” preceded her in death on December 26, 1982. Surviving are two sons: Larry of Green Cove Springs, Florida and Tom and Sandy of West Palm Beach, Florida; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by five brothers, one sister and one infant daughter, Carolyn. Friends will be received from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service on Friday, March 13, 2020 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Juniata, with Rev. Julia Piper, officiating. Interment will be made at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Altoona. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to be made in her name to Trust Bridge Hospice, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, Florida 33407.
