Lovell Louise Whittaker

Lovell Louise Whittaker, 93, Altoona, passed away late Friday evening. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Gilbert and Ruth Ann (Westover) Wyland. She is survived by three children: Sharon Boslet of Needmoore, PA and William P. “Bill” Whittaker of York, PA and a stepdaughter Barb Wible of Altoona, Pa; four grandchildren: Crystal Boslet, Alexis Holt, William A. Whittaker, and Claire Louise Whittaker; three great grandsons: Brycen, Averyn, and Ashton; and two nieces: Jeanie Tupon and Kathy Wyland, who also served as her caregiver. She was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Wyland. Lovell was an avid bowler; she enjoyed crochet, painting ceramics, photography and camping and the outdoors. Friends will be received on Monday, May 3, 2021 from 10 until the Noon funeral service at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Juniata. Interment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, masks and social distancing are required.
