L. Jean Weidlich

L. Jean Weidlich, 90, Altoona, passed away Sunday evening at her home. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Clyde and Dorothy (West) Wilt. On September 11, 1952, she married Richard J. Weidlich in California. He preceded her in death on January 1998. She is survived by four children: Richard A. (Toni) Weidlich, Terri Hoover (Greg), Mark Weidlich and Amy Miller (Ron), all of Altoona; daughter-in-law and caregiver, Kandy Weidlich; five grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and two siblings: Nancy Ickes of Homers Gap and Jerry Wilt of Texas. She was preceded in death by a sister, Winifred Mapes and a brother, William “Bill” Wilt. At the request of the deceased, no public services will be held. Inurnment will take place at Grandview Cemetery, Altoona.
