Kevin W. Burket

Kevin W. Burket, 50, Altoona, died Wednesday at home following an extended illness. He was born in Altoona, son of Harley and Judith (Parsons) Burket. Surviving are his mother of Altoona; a sister, Linda and husband Michael Arendt in Montana. He was preceded in death by a sister, Deborah in 1975 and his father in 2019. Kevin graduated from Altoona High School. He worked at Skills and was a member of ARC of Altoona and a life member of the Altoona Railroaders Museum. Kevin and his father were railroad enthusiasts and built and displayed a model railroad layout at many locations throughout the area. They were always together. For the many people who knew Kevin, they will always remember him for being so polite and of course, for that “big smile”. A private service will be held for Kevin at the convenience of the family.
