Kaye L. Griffith

Kaye Louise Griffith, 77, of Altoona, died Thursday night, July 14, 2022, at her home.  She was born on March 8, 1945, in Altoona, a daughter of the late Elwood C. & Myra May (Bartley) James.  She married Willis A. Griffith, II, on June 29, 1968, in Altoona.  He preceded her in death on September 20, 2020.

Surviving is her son, William J. Griffith of Jersey City, NJ, three sisters, Judy McQuade, twin sister, Faye Conrad and Diane Shelow and her husband Wayne, all of Altoona.  She was preceded in death by a brother Joe, and two brothers in law, Bruce McQuade and Adam Carl Conrad.

She was a 1963 graduate of Altoona High School.  She had been a member of the former Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church in Juniata.  Kaye enjoyed crafts and loved taking care of her house.

Friends will be received from 10 am until noon, Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., where a funeral service will begin at Noon. with Rev. Fred E. Hickok, officiating.  Interment at Alto Reste Park Cemetery.
