Karen Louise Lansberry, 67, Altoona, passed away early Monday morning at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Merlin and Audrey (Wolfe) McCaulley. On June 10, 2002, she married James L. Lansberry in Altoona. He preceded her in death on August 3, 2016. She is survived by a son, Jeffery D. Nail and wife Jessica of Reedsville; two step-daughters: Jamie and Jennifer Lansberry; nine grandchildren: JJ, Jett, Allyssa, Sierra, Jaiden, Ashton, Darrien, Sophia, and Grace; two sisters: Kathy Snyder and husband Mark and Kim Vincent; and a nephew, Donald Hainzey. Karen retired as a teacher from the Altoona School District. She was a member of the Mardorff United Methodist Church. Friends will be received on Thursday, August 27, 2020 from 10 to 12 p.m. and from 3 until the 4 p.m. Funeral Service at First Church of Christ, 113 Good Shepherd Road, Altoona 16601 with Pastor John Collins officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Karen’s honor to a charity close to your heart.
