Jack Norman Neff, 85, Hollidaysburg, passed away Friday at his home.
He was born in Altoona, son of the late Norman and Esther (Horner) Neff.
On November 25, 1957, he married Linda John in Winchester, VA.
In addition to his wife, Linda, of 66 years; he is survived by four children: David J. Neff of Hollidaysburg, PA, Matthew J. Neff (Tricia) of Apex, NC, Daniel P. Neff of Hollidaysburg and Lew Ann Knouse (Dwight) of Altoona, PA; grandchildren: Elizabeth Winquist (Matt), Emily Wiest (Scott), Sarah Futrell (James), Rachel Balla (Dominic), Eilish Neff and Isabel Neff; and six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Karlene (Neff) Hite and a brother, Steve Neff.
Jack was a 1957 graduate of Altoona High School. He retired from Norfolk Southern as an engineer.
He was a member of Grace Bible Church. He was a past member of Hollidaysburg Alumni Chorus, Hollidaysburg Alumni Band and Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen. He enjoyed music-playing, singing and concerts.
Also known as Pappy, Jacks greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 9 to 11 am on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Grace Bible Church, 164 Laurel Lane, Hollidaysburg, PA 16648 where a funeral service will begin at 11 with Pastor Lou Hileman officiating. Inurnment will be made at Alto Reste Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Grace Bible Church Missions.
