Helen Kuszewski

Helen passed in her home on June. 7, 2021. She was born on October 23, 1959 in Leavenworth, Kansas, and moved to Altoona, Pennsylvania in May 2015 to be with her last surviving sister, Dee Lockard. Helen dedicated herself to customer service. Some of her early jobs included babysitting, answering phones, and working at a nursing home. After she graduated high school, ,she worked at Wal-Mart for 19 and 1/2 years. Her final job was as a Customer Care Representative for Iqor. She retired in 2020. Helen loved crafts, movies, and spending time with her beloved dog , “Baby.” Helen was born to father Paul S. Kuszewski Sr., and mother Helen Mina Camp Kuszewski. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sisters Eva Randall, Tammy Kuszewski , and brother Paul S. Kuszewski. Jr. Helen is survived by, her sister Dee A. Lockard, brother in-law, Curtis Lockard, niece Jamie Patrick, and nephew; Jason Scott Randall, nephew in-law Rickey Patrick Sr, Great nephews Rickey Jr., Maliki, and Kenny Patrick. Jericho, Issac, and Zeek Randall; neieces Joni Sydney, Francesca Williams, Nicole Jarrow, and their children. And, her beloved dog, Baby. Helen was like a mother to Dee (sister), and many of her nieces and nephews. She was like a grandmother to many of her great nieces and nephews. She was very loved, and will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you consider donating to the Altoona Salvation Army and/or help cover the cost of surgery, and other vet bills for Baby. We are grateful to the Salvation Army for covering the funeral expenses, and Mauk and Yates Funeral Home for their services. There will be a final service, and meal at noon, July 23, 2021 at the Salvation Army Church, 1813 6th Ave, Altoona, Pa. 16601. The service will be comfortable dress.
