Geraldine J. Reimer

February 23, 1932 — December 12, 2019

Geraldine (Geri) Reimer arrived safely in the arms of Jesus on December 12, 2019. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Thomas L. and Ruth E. (Yingling) Michael. Surviving are her loving husband of 40 years, Richard (Al) Reimer; her daughter, Barbara (Whittaker) Wible, and son-in-law William Wible. She is also survived by a granddaughter, Jhodie Waters and grandson, Byron Cassidy; great-granddaughter, Jessie Waters and great-grandsons: Andrew, William, and Jaxon Cassidy; step-son, Edward Reimer and step-daughter, Phyllis Locklear. Also surviving are two sisters: Ruth A. Mastos (Robert) and H. Naomi Thomas; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by an infant sister, Marie Michael; sister, Jane Allen; and brothers: Thomas J. Michael and Joseph H. Michael. Geri loved spending time with family and considered her countless friends as part of her extended family. She was a familiar site as she walked her little dog, Star, through the neighborhoods of Juniata greeting everyone she met with a smile. A celebration of Geri’s life will be held at 5 p.m. on February 23, 2020 at Grace Bible Church, 164 Laurel Lane, Hollidaysburg, 16648. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Activities Fund at Maybrook Hills, or a charity of your choice.
