Gerald James Rodgers

Gerald James Rodgers, 67, Altoona, passed away Friday at UPMC Altoona surrounded by his family. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Charles and Irene (Weatherwalk) Rodgers. He is survived by his girlfriend of many years, Tina Denny; four children: Irean Shaner and husband Brian, James Rodgers, Candy Rodgers and Tony Barr; several grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and three on the way. He is also survived by siblings: Earl Rodgers, Charles Rodgers, Daisy Rodgers, Charlene Rodgers, Edna Reesman, Nancy Kutyba, and Jeanette Bradley. He was preceded in death by siblings: George Rodgers, Chad Rodgers, Sandy Rodgers, Irean Rodgers, and Charlotte Lostaglia. A celebration of life for “Big Jim” (Dad) will held on Saturday, May 28, 2022 from 2 to 4 pm at 1071 Frankstown Road, Hollidaysburg, PA 16648. Arrangements are by Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc.
