Eric Jason Hazlett, Sr.

Eric Jason Hazlett, Sr., 56, Altoona, passed away Sunday at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Altoona, son of John, Sr. and Alma Darlene (Grove) Hazlett. In addition to his parents, John and Alma; he is survived by five children: Summer Johnson, Joshua Lego (Brenda), Jacob Lego (Deanna), Krystal Hazlett, and Eric Hazlett, Jr.; two grandchildren: Jace and Cadence Lego; siblings: Jay (Teresa) Hazlett and Jeff (Jackie) Hazlett; and numerous aunts and uncles. Eric worked as a machinist for New Pig. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, playing cards, and video games and he especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Friends will be received from 10 am to 12 pm on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Juniata. A private family service will be held immediately following the visitation. Interment will take place at Grandview Cemetery.
