Debra Jane Blazer, 64, Altoona, passed away Sunday evening at UPMC Altoona.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late James L. and Margaret E. (Bowman) Focht. On September 12, 1975, she married Lee C. Blazer at Pleasant Valley Assembly of God in Altoona.
In addition to her husband, Lee, of 46 years, she is survived by three children: Heather L. Long and husband Terry R. of Tyrone, Joshua L. Blazer and wife Megan M. of Altoona, and Jeremiah L. Blazer of Tyrone; grandchildren: Levi, Coleman and Jeremiah and their mother, Rebecca L. Blazer, all of Tyrone, Savannah, Emma, and Lilee, all of Altoona, and Tommy, Timmy, Hannah, Holly, and Kylee, all of Tyrone; a brother, Larry J. Focht and wife Sandy Grum of Tyrone; and her beloved dog, Sadie.
Debra was a graduate of Altoona High School and received her cosmetology license. She worked for and attended Trans4mation Church where she loved to serve and socialize. She enjoyed shopping, skincare and make-up, purses, reading the Bible, singing and most importantly, spending time with her family. She was a Godly mother and wife who always spoke God’s word and taught her children how to live Godly lives and to look for God for guidance in every aspect of life.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Trans4mation Church, 1001 S 1st Street, Altoona, 16602 where a funeral service will be held at 10 am on Friday, January 7 with Pastor Jim Balzano officiating. Interment will be made at Yellow Springs Cemetery, Williamsburg.
