Deborah A. Himes

Deborah A. Skipper Himes, 74, Altoona, passed away Saturday at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Wilmer S. and Joan M. (Trostle) Skipper.

She is survived by a daughter, Carrie Rowles; numerous grandchildren; a sister, Carol Phelan of Altoona; a brother, Jamie Skipper and wife Renee of Hollidaysburg; brother-in-law, Allen Phelan, Sr.; nephews: Allen Phelan, Jr., Ryan Phelan (Becky), Brandon Phelan (Vanessa), Justin Skipper (Victoria) and Tyler Skipper; and many great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Heather and a brother, Billy Skipper.

Deborah was a social butterfly and enjoyed numerous activities at Maybrook. She played Bingo, Yahtzee and attended concerts held at the home. She especially loved decorating for various events with the activity department.

At the request of the deceased, no public services will be held. Arrangements are by Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc.
