Dawn L. Mangus, 89, Altoona, passed away Wednesday evening at the Presbyterian Village in Hollidaysburg. She was born in Middletown, daughter of the late William and Ona (Rehrer) Rhiver. She is survived by two daughters: Renee Milliron and husband Michael of Altoona and Lisa Logan and husband Richard of Altoona; grandchildren: Jennifer Traficante and husband Brandon and Steven Milliron; a great grandson, Beau Traficante; former husband, R. Thomas Mangus of Altoona; and a cousin, Gwen Wright of Florida. Dawn was a 1950 graduate of Altoona High School. She retired on June 1, 1995 after 38 years of service from Conrail as a stenographer. She was a member of NARBW, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, the Women’s Bowling Association, and a lifetime member of the Altoona Railroad Museum. She enjoyed collecting doll house miniatures, traveling, bowling, gardening, volunteering, and was an avid dog lover. A private family service will be held. Entombment will be made at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are by Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc.
