David Robert Gracey, Jr.

David R. Gracey, Jr., 44, Altoona, passed away Sunday afternoon.

He was born in Altoona, son of David Robert, Sr. and Deborah Ann (Gunsallus) Gracey. On July 3, 2010, he married Amanda A. Ott.

In addition to his wife, Amanda, of 12 years; he is survived by his mother, Deborah; mother-in-law, Mary K. Ott; five children: Gavin C. Harding and fiancé, Samantha Tagg, Sky A. Gracey and her children-his grandchildren: Avery D. and Elias J. Pulcine, Gabryell K. Harding, Sayge D.L. Gracey and Charles C.D. Gracey; two sisters: Nicole Schrinel and Lindsey Walter; nieces: Sidney Greenwood and Ariel Shope and a large extended, loving family, of nieces, nephews and cousins; and best friend, Ryan Brooks.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Robert, Sr.

David worked for UPMC Altoona as a licensed electrician and HVAC specialist. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He enjoyed collecting Legos and playing video games with his children. His greatest passion was food and family, spending time with the people he loved.

Friends will be received from 1 to 3 pm and from 5 to 7 pm on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4^th Avenue, Altoona where a funeral service will be held at 7 pm with Pastor Elizabeth Hess officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family for funeral expenses.
