Charon K Clabaugh

Charon K. (Ramsey) Clabaugh, 76, Altoona, died Sunday, October 20, 2024, at her home. She was born on August 14, 1948, in Altoona, a daughter of the late Elder D. Ramsey and Esther B. (Peterman) Ramsey. She married Gary Clabaugh on April 30, 2011, in Altoona.

Surviving is her husband, Gary, two daughters, Tracey (George) Stiffler and husband Frederick of Altoona, Geri (George) Selfridge and husband Eric, of Altoona, four granddaughters, Shannen Stiffler in Michigan, Erin Stiffler of State College, Ericka Selfridge of Altoona, Elisha Selfridge of Altoona, one sister, Patty (Ramsey) Edevane and husband Russell, of Altoona, one brother, Robert Ramsey and wife Suzanne (Bosco) Ramsey of Indiana, PA, two stepsons, Jason Clabaugh in South Carolina and Joshua Clabaugh of Altoona, and several beloved nieces and nephews.

Charon was a graduate of Altoona High School and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Juniata. She loved attending family dinners, fall craft shows, going to camp and traveling, but, she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and her dog Sadie.

Friends will be received from 11am until 1pm, Thursday, October 24, 2024, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 408 N 6th Street, Altoona, PA 16601, where a funeral service will begin at 1pm, Thursday, with Rev. Eli Hess, officiating. Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery, Logan Twp, Altoona, PA.
