Carl J. Kelly, “Cap”, 76, Altoona, passed away early Tuesday morning at the Hollidaysburg Veteran’s Home. He was born in Chest Springs, PA, son of the late Clyde and Rose (Flick) Kelly. On July 18, 2005, he married Patricia A. Kiser. In addition to his wife, Patricia, he is survived by three children: Lori (Michael) Aimino, Andrew (Andrea) Kelly, and Nicholas Kelly; two step children: Michael (Wendi) Baker and Timothy (Kathy) Baker; seven grandchildren; four step grandchildren; a brother, Thomas (Jeanine) Kelly; a sister, Naomi (Fred) Burgeson; mother-in-law, Eleanor Kiser; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Cynthia Wise. Cap served in the U.S. Air Force. He retired as a machinist from the railroad and was a member of the Bavarian Aide Society. He attended the Cathedral and St. Rose Catholic Church. He enjoyed working on model trains, going to flea markets, and collecting antiques. A private family service will be held. Interment will take place at St. Benedict Cemetery, Carrolltown. Arrangements are by Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc.
