Bryan Robert Detwiler

Bryan Robert Detwiler, 55, Altoona, passed away early Sunday morning at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Charles E. and LaRue Fern (Harley) Detwiler. He married Michelle L. Copenhaver on March 5, 1994 at First Church of Christ in Altoona. She preceded him in death on May 4, 2012. He is survived by three children: Josh Black, of Germantown, MD, Rachel Detwiler, of Altoona, and Lindsey Detwiler, of Altoona; a sister, Lori Irvin and husband, Larry, of Bellwood; a nephew, Cameron Irvin; and numerous great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Detwiler and two nephews. Bryan was a member of First Church of Christ. He retired from Lumax Industries as a supervisor. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Friends will be received on Thursday, May 27, 2021 from 2 until the 5 p.m. Funeral Service at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Juniata. Interment will be made at Carson Valley Cemetery.
