Blaine Joseph Plowman, 84, Tyrone, passed away Saturday.
He was born in Altoona, son of the late Harry Lenard and Mary Emma (Delozier) Plowman.
He is survived by a daughter, Lori Irvin (Larry) of Tyrone; grandchildren: Cameron Irvin, Josh Black, Rachel Detwiler and Lindsey Detwiler; great grandchildren: Aiden and Bentley Irvin; twin brother, Wayne Plowman (Carrie); and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his loving companion, LaRue Detwiler in 1998; sons, Bryan and Charles Detwiler; grandsons, Chuck and Bradley Detwiler; and brothers, Kurt and Vince Plowman.
Blaine enjoyed watching sports and was an avid Penn State fan. He loved to play lottery tickets and his greatest joy in life was his family and spending time together.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on January 20, 2024 from 2 to 5 pm at the Covenant Community Church of Bellwood, 1823 North Tuckahoe Street, Bellwood, PA 16617. Interment will be held at Carson Valley Cemetery, Duncansville.
