Alice M. Karl

Alice M. Karl, 90, formerly of Altoona, passed away Saturday at Haida Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Ed and Effie (Penikin) Hostler. She married Robert Karl, whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her siblings: Margaret Hostler, Sarah Jane Hostler, Ed Hostler, Jr. and Robert Hostler. She was also preceded in death by her loving companion, Tony Fanelli and her beloved dog and best friend, Punky. Alice was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. She retired from Boyer’s Candies. Special thanks to my best friend, Beverly Servello, for the excellent care over the years of myself and my Punky. At the request of the deceased, no public services will be held. Inurnment will take place at Grandview Cemetery, Altoona. Arrangements are by Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc.
