Summers, Ada G. -obituary for Wednesday's paper: Ada G. Summers September 18, 1914 -- December 30, 2008 Ada G. Summers, 94, of Altoona, died Tuesday morning at Altoona Regional Health System, Altoona Hospital Campus. She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late Ludwig and Jesse (Bryant) Rauchle. She married Hazen L. Summers who preceded her in death on May 11, 1981. Mrs Summers attended the Pleasant Valley Assembly of God. Surviving are two sons, David I. Summers and wife Janet, of Altoona, Paul E. Summers and wife Cynthia, of Altoona four grandchildren, Timothy A. Summers, Gregory P. Summers, Joni M. Bliss, Julie E. Smith and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers. Friends will be received from 6-8pm Friday, January 2, 2009, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., Juniata, where funeral services will be held at 11am Saturday, with Rev. Merrille Banks and Rev. Henry L. Shaffer, officiating. Interment at Blair Memorial Park.
