Mark A Kilmer

Mark A. Kilmer, 44, of Altoona, died Wednesday evening at 10:16 p.m., at Altoona Regional Health System, Bon Secours Campus. He was born in Roaring Spring, a son of Michael L. and Judith A. (Clinich) Kilmer. He married Diane G. Leva December 28, 2002. Mark is survived by his spouse, Diane; his father, Michael; brother, David M. Kilmer; and his sister, Amy M. Adams. He was a 1982 graduate of Altoona High School. Mark was a pioneering internet political analyst and media critic with rathergate.com and redstate.com. Mark particularly enjoyed the companionship of his three cats, Dornan, Roscoe, and Molly. He was preceded in death by his mother, Judith. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, February 9, 2009, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., Juniata. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mark's honor can be made to the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society or a charity of your choice.
