Orville John Moyer

Orville John Moyer December 15, 1921 -- February 5, 2009 Orville John Moyer, 87, of Bailey Road, Middletown, CT, husband of the late Alma (Bookhamer) Moyer, died Thursday, February 5, 2009 at Middlesex Hospital, Middletown, CT. He was born in Pinecroft, the son of the late Sylvester and Lucy (Foster) Moyer. Prior to his retirement, he was employed with Pratt & Whitney as a mechanic. He is survived by two sons, Richard Moyer and his wife Carolyn of Walingford, CT and B arry Moyer and his wife Tina of East Hampton, CT; two sisters, Violet Calhoun and Vanetta Laird, both of Pinecroft, four grandchildren, Rick Moyer, Shauna Falis, Tina Pawlich, and Jason Moyer; and six great grandchildren. He was predeceased by five brothers, Lynn, John, Bill, Alfred and Richard Moyer. Graveside services will be held at 10am Tuesday, February 10, 2009, at the Blair Memorial Park Chapel, with Rev.
