Steven Logan Williams, 56, of Hollidaysburg, lost his courageous battle with cancer at 6:30 AM Sunday, at his home, with his family by his side.. He was born in Altoona, the son of Rose Marie Williams and the late Max E. Williams. He graduated from the Western PA School for the Deaf in 1970. He worked at the Veteran's Hospital until retirement in 1988. Steven loved bird watching, fishing and camping. Steven is survived by his mother Rose Williams, a daughter Carrie Wilkinson and her husband Michael, a son Steven R. Williams, a grandson Damien, a great nephew Cloud, a brother Gary Williams and his wife Bunny, 4 nieces, 1 nephew, 2 great-nieces, 4 great-nephews, as well as an extended family of loved ones. He was preceded in death by his father Max. E. Williams, his beloved brother Ronnie Lee Williams, and a great -niece Kendall Brin Sollenberger. Steven's family would like to thank Dr. Bartkowiak and the angels that were always there, always helping: Ginger, Lou Ann, Tammy, Lou, Judy, Deb, Jess, Brent and Scott from Hospice. A celebration of life will be held at 106 Krystal Lane, Scotch Valley, on Saturday, June 20, 2009, at 2 PM. Steven was full of life, love, and laughter, always willing to share it with others. His life on Earth is done, his life in Heaven just begun, a fight to the finish, always strong, rest easy Steven, you're finally home.
