Marcia J Gulish

Marcia J. Gulish, 66, of Altoona, died Monday, July 13, 2009, at Altoona Regional Health System, Altoona Hospital Campus. She was born in Flinton, a daughter of the late Michael and Valerie (Hempksy) Will. She married Joseph F. Gulish August 8, 1969 at Fairview United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband, two sons, Frank A. Gulish and his wife Debbie of Chicago, Illinois, Dave Jenkins and his wife Angela of Sanford, North Carolina, two daughters, Wendy (Gulish) Seltzer of Camp Hill, PA, Pamela Biddle and her husband Robert of Altoona, seven grandchildren, Xan, Matthew, Ashten, Cody, Bradley, Jenna and Morgan, two brothers, Duane Wills and his wife Sandra of Dover Delaware, Dale Wills of Flinton, Pa. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald and Gerald Wills. Marcia worked in the nursing profession for over 30 years, with the last ten years at Health Force in the Altoona Regional Health System, Bon Secours Campus. She was a graduate of Reed Township High School and Mt Aloysius College, School of Nursing. She loved shopping, traveling, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8pm today, July 14, 2009 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., Juniata. A funeral service will held at 10am Wednesday at the funeral home with Executive Pastor Jeff Toomer, of Manna Church in Fayetteville, North Carolina, , officiating. Interment at Pleasant Hills Cemetery, Glasgow. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Central PA Humane Society or the St. Vincent DePaul Charities.
