Marian R Runyen

Marian R. Runyen, 89, of Latrobe, died June, 21, 2009, at Latrobe Regional Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born July 14, 1919, in Altoona, daughter of the late John L. and Mary Ruth (O'Donnell) Snoberger. She married Donald Runyen in Altoona. He preceded her in death in 1987. Surviving are two sons: son Ronald Merritts and his wife Sylvia, and son James Davis and his wife Kathy; one daughter Sandra Conner, all of Altoona; 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded by her brother Leslie Snoberger. Marian was a homemaker. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, active in the Faithful Followers Sunday school class. She was an Altoona High School graduate, class of 1939, and enjoyed arts and crafts. Friends will be received from 10 AM -12 PM Saturday, July 18, 2009, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc. where a memorial service will be held Monday, at 12 PM, with Rev. Ronald Anderson, officiating. Interment at Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church.
