Daisy Lois King

Daisy Lois King, 91, of Valley View Home, formerly of Murrysville, PA, died late Saturday night at the home. She was born in Juniata, daughter of the late Asbury Richard and Mirtie (Nail) Fink. She married David L. King, who preceded her in death in 1982. Surviving are her brother Perl Fink of Juniata. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Sheridan V. Fink and Ivan Wayne Fink. Daisy worked as a clerk in a drugstore in Export, PA for a number of years. She was a 1938 graduate of Altoona High School, and was a member of First Presbyterian Chruch in Trafford Pa for over 50 years. She was also a member of AARP and the Golden Age Club. She enjoyed sewing and crafts. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Tuesday, August 18, 2009, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., and from 10-11 AM Wednesday, August 19, at Community Bible Church, Juniata. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM at the church, with Elder Paul Stauffer, officiating. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery.
