Joyce L. Boyles

Joyce L. Boyles, 73, Altoona Center for Nursing Care, died Monday. She was born in Altoona, daughter of Orville and Sarah (Smith) Beck. Surviving are two daughters: Lisa Lonsinger (Rick) and Beth McGeary (Andy), both of Altoona; four grandchildren; and a brother, Orville 'Bub' Beck (Martine) of Altoona. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Robyn L.; and two sisters: Olive Louise Deihl and Barbara Riggleman. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2009, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata, where a funeral service will be held at 8 p.m.
