Gary D Koch

Gary D. Koch, 56, of Warren, Mich., formerly of Altoona, died Thursday in Michigan. He was born in Altoona, a son of Alfred H. Koch and the late Dorothy E. (Porter) Koch. Surviving are a son, Justin Koch of Duncansville; his father, Alfred of Williamsburg; a sister, Arlene Williams of Hollidaysburg; and a brother, Richard Koch of Bradenton, Fla. Gary had been employed at Krentzman Salvage and was known as a "jack-of-all-trades." He enjoyed fishing, hunting and birdwatching. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the noon funeral service Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2009, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc. (www.maukandyates.com), officiated by Pastor Kim Swindell. Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery
