James F. "Jim" Mulhollem, 77, of Altoona, died Wednesday at Altoona Hospital. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Lloyd and Mina (Bay) Mulhollem. He married Mary V. Jacobs on December 17, 1955 at 8th Ave. United Methodist Church. She preceded him in death on January 3, 2005. Surviving are two children: Jeffrey J. Mulhollem of State College, PA, and Rebecca M. Weidemann of Elkridge, MD; 5 grandchildren: Joshua, Kaitlyn, Kelsey, Kristie Mulhollem, and Adam Weidemann, one nephew Paul Mulhollem, and a special friend Denise Madden. He was preceded by his brother Paul Mulhollem. Affectionately known as "Moe", he retired as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician after 35 years of service from SKF Industries, and had also worked at Ward Trucking. He was an Altoona High School graduateclass of 1950, and had served in the United States Army. He was a member of the Sylvan Hills Golf Club, and a lifetime member of the Bavarian Aid Society. He enjoyed golf, bowling, was an avid sports fan, and especially enjoyed baseball. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and was a devoted grandfather, having attended virtually all his grandchildren's athletic events. Friends will be received from 12-2 PM and 4-6 PM on Sunday, December 20, 2009, and from 10-11 AM Monday, December 21, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc. where the funeral service will be held at 11 AM, with Rev.
