Mary A. Inlow

Mary Agnes Inlow, 89, a resident of Garvey Manor, formerly of Juniata, went to be with the Lord, Monday, January 18, 2010, at Altoona Regional Health System, Altoona Hospital Campus. She was born on February 2, 1920, in Mt. Vernon, New York, daughter of the late Benjamin R. and Helen (Wall), Thomas. She married Paul Lester Inlow on December 31, 1947 in Winchester, Va. He preceded her in death on January 3, 1966. Surviving are two daughters: Deborah L. Garritano and husband John of Juniata and Paula M. Link and husband John of Patton, Pa; six grandchildren, Anthony and Natalie Garritano, Lauren, Paul, Robert and John Michael Link, one great grandchild; Mya Crowell, one sister Edith Prahlow of Strongsville, OH, one brother in law Donald Bulger of Hollidaysburg; as well as several nieces and nephews. Mary was a homemaker. During her earlier working years, she was a bookkeeper at Penn Crest. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Juniata, where she served as a nursery Sunday school teacher and volunteered at St. Andrews Pre-school. She was also a member of the Delphi Chapter Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, and gardening. Mary touched so many children's lives during her 30+ years of babysitting. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday, January 21, 2010,at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., Juniata, and from 10-11am Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Juniata. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Friday, January 22, at Trinity Lutheran Church, with Rev. Eli Hess , officiating. Interment at Alto Reste Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Central PA Humane Society, 1835 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd, Altoona, as well as the Garvey Manor Nursing Home, 128 Logan Blvd, Hollidaysburg.
