John A. Clair, Jr.

John A. Clair, Jr., of Altoona, died Monday, March 22, 2010 at his home. He was born in Altoona, son of the late John A. and Ella C. (Thomas) Clair. Surviving are his wife Barbara; a brother Ron L. Clair of Orlando, FL., a sister Mary Ann Beers of Fallentimber; two children: Ella Coble and Johnna Williams; four step-children: Ronda Mountain, William McCaulley Jr., Matthew McCaulley, Tracy Butler; two grandchildren: Alysha Yohn and Nicole Williams; 16 step-grandchildren: Cheetara Logan, Marina McCartney, Makayla McCartney, Kylia McCartney, William McCaulley, III, Levi McCaulley, Shevet McCaulley, Allisyn Miller, Brennen McCaulley, Mariza McCaulley, Brockdon McCaulley, Tanya McCartney, Toshia McCartney, Mark Butler, Jr, Christian Butler, Jakob Butler; two step great-grandchildren: Nevaeh Logan, and Alexus Logan. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Terry Clair, and a step grandchild Brianna McCaulley, and an infant son John A. Clair, III. John loved to go to bingo. He was a joy to spend time with, and will be greatly missed. Friends will be received from 5 PM to the 6 PM memorial service on Saturday, March 27, 2010, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc. Juniata, with Pastor Richard Barr, officiating. Interment at Grandview Cemetery.
